We had our Awards Banquet this past Thursday night, so the 2008 Walk season has officially come to a close. I always feel a bit sad at the end of a walk season, but you can rest assured that I'm already working and preparing for 2009!

Our final team total was $30,740.  This is an amazing total and everyone who contributed and/or fundraised for us should be very proud of yourselves. I know I am!  We were once again the top-earning team, out of 100 family teams this year. 

A huge thank you to everyone who walked with us, donated money, purchased coffee, or included us in their prayers. We couldn't do this without the support of all of you!

We received the Lifescan "Circle of Excellence" award at the emerald level.

Even though the walk is over, you can still help us raise money for JDRF! 

We have already sold over 200 lbs. of our fresh-roasted coffee at Leaves-N-Beans.  This coffee is delicious and would make great Christmas presents!  You can order it regular or decaf, whole bean or ground.  Of every pound sold, $7 will go to JDRF.  You can order the coffee online, stop by the store in Peoria Heights, or email us and we will get it for you.
